One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Snapple Apple was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Sergeant Star quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sergeant Star clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



driver couldn't keep Snapple Apple to trotting so they were disqualified. Sergeant Star clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Snapple Apple galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Mack never caught up with Sergeant Star who won. Snapple Apple came third.
