One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lone Valley tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Mustang Rebel that came steaming ahead.

Rebellious Paladin quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Corn Flake started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Rebellious Paladin clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Rebellious Paladin was still in the lead after 1500m.

Rebellious Paladin didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Rebellious Paladin sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Lone Valley sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
