One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quick Action was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Quick Action was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Minnesota Express started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Flower Tropic took the lead after 1000m. Quick Action didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Flower Tropic today. It continued in the lead.



Flower Tropic galloped way to long and was disqualified. Quick Action litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Quick Action. Minnesota Express came in second. Flower Tropic became third.
