One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flower Maid tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Singing Sky that came steaming ahead. Flower Maid suddenly started to galop. Hannu Torvinen had to struggle to get Flower Maid to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Pineapple Honeysuckle, Flower Maid, Wolly Pony, Roquepine Thornix, Wandering Thinker, Sudden Brightness, Singing Sky, .




Flower Maid sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Wandering Thinker accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Flower Maid seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Roquepine Thornix was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



Flower Maid kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
