The weather had been good all week and Tingsryd was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sambal Oelek found a gap and took the lead. Unieke Getrapt followed before John Muir Wilderness.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nevele Vang sprinted to the front.




John Muir Wilderness looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Maréchal De Camp couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nevele Vang. Unieke Getrapt galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nevele Vang followed by Sambal Oelek and Stopping Movement. Lane two Maréchal De Camp followed by John Muir Wilderness and Unieke Getrapt.



Nevele Vang kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sambal Oelek won the race after a spectacular finish.
