One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Funny could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Meet Me In Montauk sprinted to the front. Wijckel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Cuidar Me sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Inkas Oh La La La galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Magnus A Djuse tried a little too much on the homestretch and Cuidar Me started to galopp and lost 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Inkas Oh La La La galop. Inkas Oh La La La lost 10 m.
Thaikwon Deo Magpie didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
