The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ride The Sky took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Le Poignard started to galop and lost 50 m.




Skinny Screwy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Duro Creer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Ride The Sky to trotting so they were disqualified.




Peroteaux saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Le Poignard started to gallop after 1500m and Thomas Dalborg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Peroteaux sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Joyride Law made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Le Poignard.
