It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nikki Lore sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Lovebreaker Law was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Pretty Glitter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Nikki Lore looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Indian Indie Lore couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pretty Glitter.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Pretty Glitter today. It continued in the lead.



Indian Indie Lore litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Nikki Lore never caught up with Indian Indie Lore who won. Pretty Glitter came third.
