It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Next Color could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Dead Man´s Hand started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Culinary sprinted to the front.

Next Color sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Next Color was still in the lead after 1500m.

Next Color kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. License To Win was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

With only a little left of the race Dead Man´s Hand galoped for 40 m. Next Color kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Wolly Electra, 2 Next Color, 3 Pozzecco.
