It had been raining for several days at Forus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Drago Volante found a gap and took the lead. Screaming Missile followed before Brown Hero. Øyvind Hegdal wanted a little to much in the start and Dead Satellite galoped for 10 m. Brown Hero was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Drago Volante kept the speed the whole finish and won before Cunning Snake and Buiron.
