One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Kaetlyn sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Ringwald started to galop and lost 20 m.
Kaetlyn was in fine shape and held the lead.
Coughing Thinker took the lead after 1000m.
Kaetlyn didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Coughing Thinker was still in the lead after 1500m.
Coughing Thinker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Kaetlyn made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before
Ringwald.
