One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Expensive Garden took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Expensive Garden started to galop and lost 20 m.

Jeannette quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Expensive Garden who started to galop and lost 40 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Inkas Jogging Molly was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Big Mac accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Seducer was first on the homestretch followed by Tender Action and Big Mac.

Cheerful Ship made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Butterball.
