One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Happy Sunset was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
Sophisticated Breeze saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Tempting Trap took the lead after 1000m.
Ciara didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Ciara looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
With only a little left of the race
Ghostly Cherry galoped for 30 m.
Happy Sunset was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Ciara were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Happy Sunset sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
