One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Prima Darkness tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Radicchi that came steaming ahead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Biancocelesti sprinted to the front.
Angelo Lacrima took the lead after 1000m. Biancocelesti didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Angelo Lacrima followed by Snowy Piece and Radicchi. Lane two Biancocelesti followed by Prima Darkness and Approval Seekers Law. La Maglia galloped way to long and was disqualified.
Angelo Lacrima sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Approval Seekers Law won the race after a spectacular finish.
