One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tchouaméni The Man was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Midkiff quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Rumbling Sword sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rumbling Sword followed by Shining Necklace and Midkiff. Lane two Dead Sound followed by Coin Matrix and Tchouaméni The Man. Mr Heureux galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Rumbling Sword looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Shining Necklace won. Tchouaméni The Man came in second. Dead Sound caught third place.
