One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rocks The Track found a gap and took the lead. Miss Otis Regrets followed before Rainbow Twister.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Punching Action galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
