It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Starshine Necklace. Happy Sunshine ended up behind the leader. White Sugar got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Insane Bouquet suddenly started to galop. Lennart Forsgren had to struggle to get Insane Bouquet to tror again and succeded after 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Tricky Giggle, Lady Laday, Pariloida Vahvasti, Falling Wardrobe, Darling Delight, Starshine Necklace, Happy Sunshine, White Sugar. A bird flew just in front of Soralie who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Pariloida Vahvasti sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Pariloida Vahvasti was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Starshine Necklace galoped for 10 m. Pariloida Vahvasti kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Pariloida Vahvasti didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
