One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Comet Chaser could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Perfect Fox sprinted to the front.
Kessler sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Comet Chaser sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Bishop made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Garbutt.
