The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Cocktail was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Charlisa, Snowy Valley, Van Nistelrooy The Man, Carmen Dalia, Moonlight Addiction, Stridsvagn, Ride The Sky, Light Cocktail.




Light Cocktail looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Carmen Dalia couldn't come out from behind the leader, Charlisa.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Charlisa followed by Cesta Až k Peníze and Moonlight Addiction. Lane two Light Cocktail followed by Carmen Dalia and Ride The Sky. Van Nistelrooy The Man started to gallop after 1500m and Linda Artursson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Van Nistelrooy The Man galoped for 50 m. Light Cocktail litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Moonlight Addiction won the race after a spectacular finish.
