One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Der Besserwisser C.C. found a gap and took the lead. Barefoot Dream followed before Rhymegun Cherry.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Carlos Fortuna sprinted to the front.




Rhymegun Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Barefoot Dream didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Barefoot Dream looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Barefoot Dream was still in the lead after 2000m.



Barefoot Dream looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
