One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Weekend Hope tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Souvenir De Amour that came steaming ahead.

Duquesne Whistle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Running Grove who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Weekend Hope sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Weekend Hope was still in the lead after 1500m. Penny Parker Pegasos started to gallop after 1500m and Björn Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Beautiful Madame suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Final standings. 1 Red Hollywood, 2 Weekend Hope, 3 Beautiful Madame.
