It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bleu Et Jaune could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Golden Madness saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Gold National Treasure was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Global Rebel took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Global Rebel followed by Starstruck Wave and Bleu Et Jaune. Lane two Ducourtioux followed by Golden Madness and Gold National Treasure.



Ducourtioux was first on the homestretch followed by Starstruck Wave and Global Rebel.

Starstruck Wave was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Winner of todays race was Ducourtioux. Global Rebel came in second. Golden Madness became third.
