The weather had been good all week and Klosterskogen was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Derby Aaas.
Sharp Edge ended up behind the leader.
First Shift got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.
Not Enough saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m.
First Shift took the lead after 1000m.
Kiryukhin didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Pocket Pair saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Listening
Beard galloped for 10 m.

Beard was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.
Pocket Pair were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Listening
Beard galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.
Pocket Pair kept the speed the whole finish and won before
Derby Aaas and
First Shift.
