The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blue Thrasher found a gap and took the lead. Silver Body followed before Slow Speed.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Muscle Rebel sprinted to the front.




Slow Speed looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Misfit couldn't come out from behind the leader, Muscle Rebel.




Muscle Rebel was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Misfit galoped for 50 m. Muscle Rebel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Haschtag galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Final standings. 1 Blue Thrasher, 2 Slow Speed, 3 Muscle Rebel.
