One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Solid Thinking. Power Stone ended up behind the leader. Pinstripe´s Ajax got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Evita Opal, Athletic Gladiator, Comfortable Bandwith, Gold Chocolatier, Pinstripe´s Ajax, Power Stone, Solid Thinking, Smiling Nutcracker. A bird flew just in front of Sunday Sapphire who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Gold Chocolatier sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Pinstripe´s Ajax saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Pinstripe´s Ajax kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Comfortable Bandwith gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



Impatient Diva was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Pinstripe´s Ajax kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Pinstripe´s Ajax kept the speed the whole finish and won before Smiling Nutcracker and Gold Chocolatier.
