The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mohawk Racetrack this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elegant Trap found a gap and took the lead. Empire On Fire followed before Gold Evian. driver couldn't keep Tranquille Resplendissante to trotting so they were disqualified.




Moonlight Sky saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Express Sound sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Moonlight Sky accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Moonlight Sky didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Vichøice Bìhoun suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Duquesne Whistle galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Winner of todays race was Vichøice Bìhoun. Vedar Gal Cherry came in second. Gold Evian became third.
