The sun was shining on Suonenjoki and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Opposing Orchid found a gap and took the lead. Tripping Cherry followed before Insane Stardust.




Dietrich Hof quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Tripping Cherry took the lead rather easily.

Turning Peach galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Marcus Savin tried a little too much on the homestretch and Opposing Orchid started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Winner of todays race was Tripping Cherry. Bergakungen came in second. Wondering Angel became third.
