Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Toonsoort found a gap and took the lead. Cassel followed before Falang.
Toonsoort was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Cassel who started to galop and lost 40 m.
Toonsoort clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Toonsoort was still in the lead after 1500m.
Toonsoort kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Clachnacuddin was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Final standings. 1 Diamond Strawberry, 2 Toonsoort, 3 Falang.
