The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Sodankylä today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Simb Tyrant could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Long Bearded Stallion, Majestic Gun, Beethoven Hof, Rabbia E Tarantella, Lucky Sky, Simb Tyrant, Ylistää, Dreaming Map.

Rabbia E Tarantella sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Simb Tyrant saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rabbia E Tarantella gallopped for 50 m.

Lucky Sky suddenly took over the lead. Majestic Gun showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Ylistää gallopped 50 m after 2000m.

Lucky Sky looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Beethoven Hof sprinted over the finishline before Simb Tyrant and Lucky Sky.
