It had been raining for several days at Lindesberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Sunflake could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
Sunflake was in fine shape and held the lead.
Grassina took the lead after 1000m. Portable
Devil didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Portable
Devil saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Grassina gallopped for 20 m.
With only a little left of the race Sunflake galoped for 30 m. Portable
Devil looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
driver couldn't keep Gold Rocket to trotting so they were disqualified.
Che Guevara sprinted over the finishline before Hunter and Fakse.
