The weather had been good all week and Bollnäs was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Electric Eye could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Punching Wave quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Whistler looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gift From Heaven couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Wave.




Whistler looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Whistler looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Punching Wave won the race after a spectacular finish.
