The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

King Kong was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Veli-Erkki Paavola wanted a little to much in the start and Travelling Witch galoped for 40 m.

Winter Star quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Winter Star who started to galop and lost 10 m.

King Kong looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Travelling Witch couldn't come out from behind the leader, Winter Star.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Winter Star followed by Racing Champion and Relaxing Body. Lane two Travelling Witch followed by Dove Smooth and King Kong. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Nikodemas Bakaou gallopped for 30 m.

driver couldn't keep Nikodemas Bakaou to trotting so they were disqualified. Travelling Witch suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Winter Star won. Travelling Witch came in second. Racing Champion caught third place.
