One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Saviour Son tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Wolf Bat that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Icebreaker started to galop and lost 10 m.
Wolf Bat was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.
Wolf Bat clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Love For You speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Queen Of North sprinted over the finishline before
