One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Just No Good was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Noix De Muscade saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Dancer was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Shining Sunray looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Inner Light couldn't come out from behind the leader, Noix De Muscade. Jane Heart suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Dancer galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Noix De Muscade followed by Inner Light and Dancing Starlight. Lane two Shining Sunray followed by Just No Good and Kytjema. Jane Heart showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Noix De Muscade sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Kytjema galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Inner Light made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Noix De Muscade.
