It had been raining for several days at Bergen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Delightful Rocker found a gap and took the lead. Secret Rose Garden followed before Goldie Charm.

Jolly Nova quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Rosso Star took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Nova didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Delightful Rocker galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Jolly Nova looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Jolly Nova kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Holy Sunshine was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.

Goldie Charm litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Jolly Nova won the race after a spectacular finish.
