One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Starshine
Box took the lead after a very quick start.
There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
Atitude looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Neverending Story couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Never Going Home.
My Mercurius galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.
