The sun was shining on Vieremä today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cloud Aquarius found a gap and took the lead. Pom Duchess followed before Holding Back.




This is the positions after 500m. Swedish Gas, Rugged Movement, Rhythm Divine, Punching Momentum, Marshmallow, Freedom On Fire, Cloud Aquarius, Holding Back. Boom Boom Satellite showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Swedish Gas clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Freedom On Fire accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Légende galoped for 30 m. Punching Momentum was first on the homestretch followed by Holding Back and Cloud Aquarius.

Pom Duchess galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Antti Teivainen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Boom Boom Satellite started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Holding Back won the race after a spectacular finish.
