The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.
The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Doctor Devil. Conundrum Cherry ended up behind the leader. Dancing Tango got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Conundrum Cherry sprinted to the front.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Conundrum Cherry followed by Thunder Legend and Modest
Rocket. Lane two Doctor Devil followed by Dancing Tango and Lolita. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Connoisseur gallopped for 50 m.
Conundrum Cherry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Modest
Rocket won. Doctor Devil came in second. Conundrum Cherry caught third place.
