It had been raining for several days at Vaasa but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Don Quijote was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Poincon Express started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Poincon Express sprinted to the front.

Byens Boss sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Money Accumulator looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Money Accumulator sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Byens Boss litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Money Accumulator, 2 Brave Girl, 3 Poincon Express.
