The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Instict De Survie took the lead after a very quick start.
De Les Ciel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Opal De Landemer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Explosive Dynamite won. Holiday Bell came in second. Opal De Landemer caught third place.
