The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rovaniemi this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Poison Claws. Perfect Thinker ended up behind the leader. Smiling Princess got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Stretching Peach galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Perfect Thinker sprinted to the front.

Perfect Thinker clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Poison Claws looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Poison Claws kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Wondering Wardrobe won the race after a spectacular finish.
