The sun was shining on Umåker and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lonzo Dance found a gap and took the lead.
Irvydas Bakaou followed before
Flying Steel. Lonzo Dance suddenly started to galop. Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get Lonzo Dance to tror again and succeded after 40 m.
Flowers Of Life quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Votre Richesse sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Flying Steel galloped way to long and was disqualified.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Votre Richesse followed by
Boom Boom Satellite and
Va Bene. Lane two
Irvydas Bakaou followed by
Fleet Flower and
Lonely Astronaut.
Lonely Astronaut started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Svanstedt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
With only a little left of the race
Irvydas Bakaou galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race
Flying Steel galoped for 50 m.
Votre Richesse sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Votre Richesse started to galopp and lost 50 m.
