One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Delta Leader could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Solid
Piece started to galop and lost 20 m.
Solid
Piece saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Dark Princess sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Cool Commando galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Dreaming
Boulder looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Boulder kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
