The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Force De Traction could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Incontro quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Steel Blast sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Steel Blast followed by Force De Traction and Toulouse Guard. Lane two Travelling Sprackler followed by Il Gabbia and Fratello Bravo.

Steel Blast were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Toulouse Guard galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Force De Traction won the race after a spectacular finish.
