One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gentleman Stone could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Stopping Bomb, Bold News, Criminal Investigation, Fawltys Dramaqueen, Crunchy Crisp, Lieutenant Factory, Rocky Trotty J., Gentleman Stone.

Crunchy Crisp sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Leopard Larockma suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Crunchy Crisp was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lieutenant Factory gallopped for 10 m.

With only a little left of the race Fawltys Dramaqueen galoped for 50 m. Lieutenant Factory litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Lieutenant Factory kept the speed the whole finish and won before Gentleman Stone and Criminal Investigation.
