One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Rangoon tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Fille Douce that came steaming ahead.
Dove Angel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Dove Angel was still in the lead after 1500m.
Fille Douce litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Dove Angel sprinted over the finishline before
Fille Douce and
Paradise Rose.
