One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Starshine Necklace tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Stänkrädda Stina that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Bara Bra, Lady Butterfly, Stänkrädda Stina, Bath Salt Cherry, Glorious Sun, Into Art, Roswitha Larockma, Starshine Necklace. A bird flew just in front of Lady Butterfly who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Bara Bra clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Into Art galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Roswitha Larockma accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Roswitha Larockma didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Roswitha Larockma was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Lady Butterfly galoped for 20 m. Bara Bra speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Bath Salt Cherry won the race after a spectacular finish.
