The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Aquaspace could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Cassio saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Cassio clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Cassio was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Kanatlia gallopped for 40 m.

With only a little left of the race Funky Moonlight galoped for 40 m. Lieutenant Momentum litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Criminal Viper sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
