Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Viking Ronos could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
This is the positions after 500m. Dreaming
Platinum, Obama, Loop Head, Johnny Bode, La Reine Charmante, Viking Ronos, Thunder Road, Swedish Delight.
La Reine Charmante looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Swedish Delight couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dreaming
Platinum. Johnny Bode showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dreaming
Platinum followed by Swedish Delight and Thunder Road. Lane two Viking Ronos followed by Loop Head and La Reine Charmante.
Viking Ronos suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Swedish Delight won. Viking Ronos came in second. Dreaming
Platinum caught third place.
