One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Fawltys Ederra sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Perle D'or galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Special Gina saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Parlor Magic galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
With only a little left of the race
